The Best Coffee in Atlanta Keeps Getting Better
"Out to the east, not much further than Radio Roasters, really, is the town of Clarkston, sometimes referred to as "the Ellis Island of the South." Kitti and Bill Murray's bootstrapped operation serves more than just coffee; they are providing job training, employment and a focal point for the local (and rather sizeable) refugee community. The whole operation runs out of a disused mid-century gas station, and the coffee still comes from a truck parked out front, and you sit underneath the awning, where the gas pumps used to be (or inside if you like), and while it is certainly not the trendiest spot to sit around and people watch in Atlanta right now, it is absolutely one of the best. (The coffee is very good, too.)"

9 Best Coffee Shops in Atlanta
"Refuge Coffee, in Clarkston, is part darn-good coffee purveyor, part mission-driven community project. The nonprofit started serving out of a 1983 Chevy van and has since graduated to a full-size cafe in a former garage; today the truck still serves as the service counter and houses all the coffee-making supplies. Refuge sources its beans from Savannah, Georgia-based roaster Perc Coffee, and all of the drinks are solid and tasty."

Atlanta’s Essential Coffee Shops
"Refuge Coffee, located just east of the perimeter in the small city of Clarkston, is community-minded and purpose-driven. While great coffee drinks are always on the menu here, this coffee shop’s mission is to provide a safe space for the city’s large refugee community, along with jobs and job training. Coffee is served from one of the shop’s trucks parked outside a 1960s service station."
