A visit to Weiss Lake would not be complete without a trip to the 411 Drive-in Theatre and Grill which is open year-round on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the theatre is open seven days each week, playing new release movies with two double features on weekends. The drive-in is located at 300 County Road 265 and is a less than ten-minute ride from Weiss Lake. The drive-in was opened in 1953 by Emory Johnson, but television led to the demise of many of the open-air theatres. In 2001, Johnson reopened the 411 Drive-in with the assistance of this sons, Rex and Carl. In 2008, they added a restaurant and snack bar that serves burgers, fried chicken, and, of course, fresh popcorn.
